How do I communicate with sellers directly?

Direct Chat With Seller

Step 1: Access the "My Hires" Section

  1. Log In:
    Log in to your Kosmic.ai account.

  2. Navigate to My Hires:

    • From the left-hand Marketplace menu, click on "My Hires".
    • This will take you to the main My Hires page, where you can see all your current jobs and hired sellers.

  • Select a Job:

    • Click on the specific job you want to communicate about (e.g., "Marketing Video Editor").
    • This will open the Job Details page, where you can view the seller’s profile, job title, due date, and other details.

Step 2: Access the Chat Interface

  • Locate the Message Tab:

    • On the Job Details page, you’ll see tabs labeled Job Terms, Review Work, and Message.
    • Click on the "Message" tab to access the chat interface.

  • View Previous Conversations:

    • Inside the chat interface, you can view a list of previous conversations with the seller.
    • Each message displays the following:
      • Sender's Name: Indicates whether the message is from you or the seller.
      • Timestamp: Shows when the message was sent.
      • Message Content: Displays the text of the conversation.

Step 3: Sending a Message to the Seller

  1. Type Your Message:

    • Use the Message Input Box at the bottom of the chat window to type your message.


  2. Add Attachments or Emojis (Optional):

    • Click the Attachment Icon to send documents or images.
    • Use the Emoji Icon to add emojis, making your communication more engaging.
  3. Send the Message:

    • Click the Send Button (represented by a paper plane icon) to send the message.

System Behavior:
The message will appear instantly in the chat window, along with a timestamp indicating when it was sent.

Step 4: Receiving and Viewing Messages

  1. New Message Notifications:

    • When the seller sends a new message, you’ll receive a notification on the platform.
  2. View New Messages:

    • Open the chat to see the new message, which will automatically appear in the chat window.
  3. Access Work Submissions from Chat:

    • If the seller mentions they’ve submitted work, click the "Review Work" button directly from the chat to access the submitted files.
