How Do I Access and Read Notifications

Accessing the Notifications Drop-Down

Step 01: Locate the Notification Bell Icon

The Notification Bell Icon is located in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Click the bell icon to open the Notifications Drop-Down Menu, which shows a list of your most recent notifications.

Step 02: Viewing Notifications in the Drop-Down Menu

The drop-down menu provides an overview of recent notifications, including:

Profile Picture: Displays the profile image of the person or entity related to the notification.
Description: A short summary of the notification, such as “Cameron W. created a new task in Kosmic space.”
Timestamp: Indicates when the notification was received (e.g., “1 min ago”).
Action Buttons: Quick links such as “View Task,” “View Job,” “Send Message,” or “Follow Back” for direct actions.
Read/Unread Indicator: Unread notifications are marked with a green dot.
Mark All as Read: This button, located at the bottom, lets you mark all unread notifications as read.
View All: Redirects you to the Main Notifications Page with a complete list of notifications.

Navigating the Main Notifications Page

When you click View All in the drop-down menu, you are redirected to the main notifications page for detailed notifications and filtering options.

Step 03: Notifications Tabs

At the top of the notifications page, there are several tabs to filter notifications by category:

All: Displays all notifications.
Marketplace: Shows updates related to marketplace activities.
Tasks: Filters notifications about task-related events.
Video Editor: Focuses on notifications specific to the video editor.
Messages: Displays only message-related notifications.
Storage and Subscriptions: Updates regarding storage usage or subscription status.

Switching Tabs:

Click any tab to view notifications specific to that category.

Notification Details on the Main Page

Each notification entry on the main page includes the following:

Profile Picture: Identifies the source of the notification.
Description: Summarizes the notification details.
Timestamp: Shows when the notification was received.
Action Buttons: Perform actions like “View Task” or “Send Message” directly from the notification.
Read/Unread Indicator: Notifications are grouped by date (e.g., “Today,” “Yesterday”), simplifying navigation.
Mark All as Read: Available at the top of the page to mark all notifications as read.

Interacting with Notifications

Clicking on Notifications:

Clicking on a notification redirects you to the relevant page (e.g., Task Manager or Marketplace) or opens a popup with detailed information.

Using Action Buttons:

Perform direct actions like View Task, Follow Back, or Send Message from the notification entry without leaving the page.
