How do I get paid as a seller?

Step 1: Ensure Seller Approval and Profile Completion

Before you can start earning:

• Get Approved as a Seller: Submit a seller request and wait for approval.
• Complete Your Profile: Ensure your personal information, skills, portfolio, and other seller details are updated in your profile settings.

Step 2: Send Proposals for Posted Jobs

• Navigate to the Marketplace and explore available job postings.
• Submit your proposals for relevant jobs, showcasing your skills and bidding competitively.

Job Status: During this phase, the job will be under the Hiring status. Buyers will review proposals from sellers.

Step 3: Get Hired for a Job

• Once the buyer accepts your proposal, you will officially get hired for the job.
• The job status will now transition to Awaiting Payment, indicating that the buyer needs to deposit funds to initiate the job.

Step 4: Accept Job Offer and Acknowledge Workspace Invitation

• After the buyer deposits the payment, the job will move to Awaiting Acknowledgment.
• Accept the Job Offer and acknowledge the workspace invitation to confirm that you are starting work on the job.
  
  

Step 5: Link Trustap Account Before Submitting Work

• Before submitting deliverables, make sure you have created and linked your Trustap Account:
  • Trustap is Kosmic.ai's payment partner, and without linking your account, you won’t be able to receive payments.
  • Ensure that your Trustap account details (e.g., bank information) are correctly configured.

Step 6: Submit Deliverables and Complete the Review Process

• Submit your completed work through the workspace.
• Once submitted, the job status will transition to In Review, and a 7-Day Review Process will begin.
• During this review period:
  • The buyer will review the work and may request changes.
  • Address any Change Requests promptly to avoid disputes.
  • If disputes arise due to incomplete or unsatisfactory work, payments may be held until the issue is resolved.

Note: Failure to respond to buyer requests during the review phase may result in disputes that delay payment.

Step 7: Receive Payment After the Review Period

• Once the 7-Day Review Period ends and the deliverables are approved, the payment will be released into your Trustap Account.
• Ensure that your Trustap account is set up correctly to avoid delays in receiving funds.

Job Statuses in Payment Process

1. Hiring: Proposals are sent by sellers, and the buyer reviews them.
2. Awaiting Payment: Buyer deposits funds to initiate the job.
3. Awaiting Acknowledgment: Seller acknowledges the workspace invitation to start the job.
4. In Progress: Job moves to this status once the seller starts work.
5. In Review: Once the seller submits deliverables, the review process begins.
