How to Post a Job

Step 1: Access the Marketplace

  1. Locate the Marketplace Section:

    • On the left-side navigation bar, click the “Marketplace” button.
  2. Go to Manage Jobs:

    • In the Marketplace section, click on the “Manage Jobs” button.
    • You will be redirected to the “All Jobs” section of the Manage Jobs screen.

Tip: If you already have job posts, they will appear in this section.

Step 2: Initiate a Job Post

  1. Start a New Job Post:

    • If you haven’t posted any jobs yet, a “Post a Job” button will appear in the center of the page.
    • Alternatively, you can use the “Post a Job” button located on the top navigation bar.
  2. Click “Post a Job”:

    • This will redirect you to the Post a Job page.

Note: Existing job posts are clickable and will take you to the Job Details Page for further management.

Step 3: Enter the Job Title

  1. Job Title Section:

    • On the Post a Job page, you will see a Job Progress Bar and a text box to enter your job title.
  2. Enter the Job Title:

    • Fill in the job title in the provided text box.
  3. Proceed to the Next Step:

    • Click the “Next” button to continue.
    • If needed, click “Cancel” to exit the process at any time.

Step 4: Select Required Skills

  1. Skills Selection Page:

    • After entering the job title, you will be redirected to the Skills Selection page.
  2. Search and Select Skills:

    • Use the Search Bar to find skills relevant to your job.
    • Select suggested Skill Tags that match your requirements.
  3. Move to the Next Step:

    • Click the “Next” button to proceed.
    • Click “Back” to return to the previous step or “Cancel” to exit.

Step 5: Define the Job Scope

  1. Add a Job Description:

    • Use the rich text editor to write a detailed description of your job.
  2. Upload Supporting Files:

    • Click the “Upload” option to attach relevant files or documents.
    • A window explorer will open, allowing you to select files.
  3. Set the Due Date:

    • Use the date picker to choose a project deadline.
    • You can also include the due date in the rich text editor.
  4. Formatting Options:

    • Customize the text with options like bold, italic, underline, or adjust the font style.
  5. Proceed to Budget Setup:

    • Click “Next” to continue.
    • Use “Back” to return to the previous step or “Cancel” to exit.

Note: The project deadline should not exceed 60 days.

Step 6: Set the Budget

  1. Budget Setup Page:

    • Enter the budget amount in the Budget Field.
  2. Use Budget Suggestions:

    • Select from the suggested budget options displayed below the input field for quicker entry.
  3. Post the Job:

    • Click the “Post” button to publish your job on the platform.
  4. Manage the Job Post:

    • Once posted, your job will appear in the Manage Jobs section.
    • If the job is not picked up by a seller, you can edit the job within 6 months.

Tips and Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Job Title Not Accepting Input Ensure the job title text box is filled and does not exceed character limits.
Skills Not Showing in Search Try refining your keywords or check for typos.
File Not Uploading Verify that the file format and size meet the platform requirements.
Budget Suggestions Missing Refresh the page or manually input the budget.
