What are the different Job statuses?

Job Status

1. Awaiting Payment (Buyer)

Status: Awaiting Payment
Action:

  • After the Buyer selects a Seller for a job, they need to complete the final step: payment confirmation.
  • The job remains in "Awaiting Payment" status until the Buyer processes the payment.

2. Acceptance Pending (Seller)

Status: Acceptance Pending
Action:

  • Once the Buyer completes the payment, the Seller must accept the payment to link it to their Trustap profile.
  • The Seller can:
    • Accept the payment via Trustap signup.
    • Accept it as a Guest user.
  • The status changes to "In Progress" after acceptance.

3. In Progress

Status: In Progress
Action:

  • After the Seller accepts the payment, the job status updates to "In Progress".
  • The job remains in this status until the Seller submits their work for review.

4. Work Submitted (Seller)

Status: Work Submitted
Action:

  • Once the Seller submits the completed work, the status changes to "Work Submitted".
  • The submission includes files or deliverables provided by the Seller.

5. In Review (Buyer)

Status: In Review
Action:

  • The Buyer must review and approve the submitted work.
  • If no action is taken, the system will automatically approve the work after 7 days unless a dispute is raised.

6. Approved (Buyer)

Status: Approved
Action:

  • The status updates to "Approved" when:
    • The Buyer explicitly accepts the submitted work.
    • The system auto-approves the work after 7 days of no Buyer response.

7. Payment Released

Status: Payment Released
Action:

  • After the Seller claims the transaction on Trustap, the payment is released, and the job status updates to "Payment Released".
  • This step indicates that the transaction is successfully completed.

8. Dispute Initiation

Status: Dispute Pending
Action:

  • If either the Buyer or Seller raises a dispute, the job status changes to "Dispute Pending".
  • This status indicates that an unresolved issue requires attention from both parties or Trustap support for resolution.

9. Dispute Resolution

Status: Resolved
Action:

  • The status updates to "Resolved" when the dispute is successfully addressed.
  • Depending on the outcome:
    • The job is marked as completed if resolved in favor of the Seller.
    • The job is closed based on Trustap’s dispute resolution process.

Tips and Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Buyer Did Not Review Work After 7 days, the system will auto-approve the submission and release funds.
Seller Did Not Accept Payment Ensure the Seller accepts payment via Trustap (signup or guest).
Dispute Not Resolved Contact Kosmic.ai Support or Trustap for assistance.
