How do I hire a seller on a Job?

Hiring A Seller

Step 1: Navigate to the Proposals

Before hiring a seller, access their submitted proposal:

  1. Locate Submitted Proposals:

  2. Find the Seller’s Proposal:

    • Use the Proposals tab to locate the specific seller you want to hire.

Step 2: Hiring the Seller

  • Initiate the Hiring Process:

    • After reviewing the seller's proposal, click the "Hire Now" button in the proposal popup.
    • This action opens the Hiring Confirmation Screen.

  • Review Hiring Details:

    • On the confirmation screen, you will see:
      • Seller’s Profile Picture and Name: Verify the seller's identity.
      • Job Details: Includes job title, due date, and project budget.
      • Payment Instructions: Learn how funds are securely managed (e.g., held by Trustap until job completion).

  • Confirm Agreement:

    • Check the box to agree to Kosmic's terms and conditions.

  • Complete the Hire:

    • Click the "Hire and Fund the Job" button to finalize the hiring.
    • You will be redirected to the payment page to complete the transaction.

Tip: Ensure you have sufficient funds in your selected payment method before proceeding.

  • Hiring Confirmation:
    • Once the payment is processed:
      • You will receive a confirmation message stating that the agreement has been signed and sent to the seller.
      • The seller will be notified, and you’ll receive updates once the seller acknowledges the agreement.

Step 3: Rejecting a Proposal (Optional)

  1. Decline the Proposal:

    • If you decide not to proceed with a seller’s proposal, click the "Reject" button in the proposal popup or confirmation screen.
  2. Notify the Seller:

    • The seller will be notified that their proposal has been declined.

Tip: Rejecting a proposal helps the seller know the status of their application, enabling them to focus on other opportunities.
