How do I invite a seller to a job?

Step 1: Finding the Invite Button

  1. Navigate to the Marketplace:

    • Go to the Marketplace section from the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Find the Seller:

    • Locate the seller you want to invite by:
      • Browsing search results or filtered lists.
      • Clicking on the seller's profile card (available in search results).
      • Opening the seller's detailed profile page.
  3. Click the Invite Button:

    • The “Invite” button is visible on both the seller’s profile card and detailed profile page.
    • Click the “Invite” button to start the invitation process.

Step 2: Opening the Invitation Popup

  1. Invite Popup:

    • After clicking the Invite button, a modal popup titled “Invite to a job” will appear.
  2. Popup Details:

    • The popup includes:
      • Seller’s Profile Summary: Displays the seller's name, role, and key skills (e.g., “Natomic Inc., Video Editor, 3D Animator, Graphic Design”).
      • Message Box: A default invitation message ready for customization.

Step 3: Customizing the Message

  1. Default Message:

    • The Message Box comes pre-filled with the following default text:

      “Hello! I came across your profile and would like to invite you to apply for a job opportunity. If you're interested, please submit a proposal. Thanks.”

  2. Edit the Message:

    • You can customize the message to include more details about the job or make it more personal.

Tip: Personalizing the message increases the likelihood of a seller responding positively.

Step 4: Selecting a Job

  1. Job Selection Dropdown:

    • Below the message box, there is a dropdown menu labeled “Select Job”.
  2. Choose the Job:

    • Click the dropdown to view a list of jobs you have already posted.
    • Use the search bar (if available) to quickly find the relevant job.
    • Click on the desired job title to select it.
  3. Job Display:

    • The selected job will now appear in the dropdown box, confirming your choice.

Step 5: Sending the Invitation

  1. Review the Details:

    • Double-check the customized message and selected job before proceeding.
  2. Send the Invite:

    • Click the “Send Invite” button at the bottom of the popup.
    • The system will immediately send the invitation to the seller.
  3. Seller Notification:

    • The invited seller will receive a notification about the job opportunity on their account.

Step 6: Confirmation of Invitation Sent

  1. Confirmation Message:

    • Once the invite is successfully sent, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.

      “Your invitation has been successfully sent to [Seller Name].”

  2. Invite Status Updated:

    • The Invite button will change to “Invite Sent”, indicating that the seller has received your job invitation.
  3. Next Steps:

    • You can now monitor the seller’s response and manage proposals under the Manage Jobs section.

Tips and Troubleshooting

“Invite” Button Not Visible Ensure you’re on a seller’s profile card or detailed profile page.
Job Not Appearing in Dropdown Confirm that you have posted a job in the Manage Jobs section.
