How do I access and navigate the chats?
Accessing Chats
Step 1: Navigating to the Inbox
- Locate the Inbox Icon:
On the main interface, go to the top-right section where icons and notifications are visible.
- Access Recent Messages:
Click on the Inbox Icon to open a dropdown displaying recent messages or notifications.- Each entry shows the sender's profile picture, name, and a message preview.
- View All Messages:
To access the full chat interface, click on the "View All" option at the bottom of the dropdown. This will redirect you to the complete chat section.
Step 2: Starting a New Chat
- Locate the "New Chat" Button:
In the chat interface, look for the "New Chat" button on the left-hand side. - Open the New Chat Popup:
Click the button to open a dialog box for initiating a new chat.
Step 3: Searching for a Contact
- Search for a Member:
Use the search bar labeled "Search member or type email" in the New Chat popup.- Start typing the member’s name or email address to filter the results.
- Matching names will be displayed in a list below the search bar.
Step 4: Initiating the Chat
- Start Messaging:
Once you find the correct contact in the search results, click on "Send Message" next to their name.- This action will open a new chat window with the selected member.
- Begin Chatting:
Type your message in the input bar and click the Send Button (paper airplane icon) to start the conversation.
Tips and Troubleshooting
